Lanning Hired as Water/Water Reclamation Superintendent

The City of Rochelle is pleased to announce the addition of Adam Lanning to our team as the RMU Superintendent of Water and Water Reclamation. He will begin his new position on September 29.

Mr. Lanning holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Illinois State University in Geology and a Master of Science, also from Illinois State University, in Hydrogeology. He was most recently employed as the Deputy Director of Operations for the City of Frankfort, Kentucky Sewer Division. Well versed in his field, Lanning says, "The position offers an opportunity to build my professional career in the water and wastewater field as this represents my personal and professional interests. I look forward to helping the community of Rochelle provide clean water to the residents as well as to the receiving waters of Illinois."

A native of Northern Illinois, Lanning is ready to return to the area. "I am looking forward to the position in Rochelle because it is close to my home town of Ashton where my family resides," he said.
