RMU water customers may notice discoloration in the water supply over the several days as well 8, the utility’s backup well, has been brought online. The well is higher in iron; however, the level does not exceed the EPA’s maximum contaminant levels. The well has been brought online due to simultaneous equipment failures at wells 4 and 12.
