Automatic Payment

To begin the automatic payment, complete the Electronic Funds Transfer Form, attach a cancelled check from the account and submit to RMU. Statements will continue to be mailed. The deduction will be shown on the statement.

Equalized Payment Program

An equalized payment option offers customers consistent monthly payments. The consistent payments help customers plan their budgets.

The plan is administered on an annual May 1 through April 30 schedule with reviews in September and March for adjustments as necessary based on actual usage.

To qualify for the program, a residential customer must have 12 months previous electric usage at the current residence and a current account at the time of enrollment. Customers may enroll in the plan anytime by submitting the Equalized Payment Application and may cancel at any time by providing 30 days written notice.
